Terms
Last updated 12 August 2026
Soup is a small community for sharing tracks, demos, and works in progress. By creating an account or posting on Soup, you agree to these Terms, the Community Standards and the Publishing Rules.
Your account
Keep your account details accurate and protect your sign-in information. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. Soup may restrict or remove an account where necessary to protect the service or enforce its rules.
What you share
You keep ownership of your music, artwork, comments and profile material. You must have the rights and permissions needed to share them. You are responsible for what you publish and for complying with the Publishing Rules and Community Standards.
When you publish material on Soup, you give Soup a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, stream, display and share that material only as needed to operate, promote and improve Soup. This licence ends when the material is permanently deleted, except for reasonable backups, legal obligations and material another person has independently shared outside Soup.
Moderation
Soup may remove or limit tracks, comments, profiles or accounts that break these Terms or the linked rules, infringe rights, create security risk or harm other people. Where appropriate, Soup may ask for information, issue a warning or provide an appeal route.
Support purchases
Support Soup purchases are voluntary and do not unlock content, features, upload slots, visibility, badges, ranking or moderation advantages. One-off support is consumable. Monthly support renews automatically at the price and period shown before purchase until cancelled. Support purchased in the iPhone app is charged to your Apple Account and managed through Apple. Support purchased on the website is processed by Stripe and monthly web support can be managed from the Support Soup page while signed in. The applicable checkout shows the final price before you confirm payment.
Use of Soup on iPhone is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Availability
Soup is provided as an active work in progress. We will try to keep it stable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, or that every feature will remain unchanged.
