Community Standards

Soup is a small music community. These standards apply to profiles, comments, replies, tracks, artwork and other activity on Soup.

Treat people with care

Do not harass, threaten, target or intimidate people. Hate speech, dehumanising content, unwanted sexual content and the sharing of someone's private information are not allowed. Criticism of music is welcome; personal abuse is not.

Be genuine

Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent ownership, manipulate engagement, post repetitive spam or use Soup to distribute scams, malware or misleading links.

Respect rights and safety

Do not publish material that infringes copyright, privacy or other rights. Content involving exploitation, credible threats, illegal activity or graphic sexual violence is not allowed.

Reports and enforcement

Reports are confidential and reviewed in context. A report does not automatically remove content. Soup may remove content, restrict features, suspend an account or permanently remove an account. Copyright and human-made-music decisions require human review, and an appeal is available where appropriate. Copyright or ownership concerns use the dedicated option in a track's report menu so the necessary legal details can be handled confidentially.
